Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of payrollcompliancehub.com (the “site”) and your enrollment in continuing-education programs offered by Payroll Compliance Hub, Inc. (“PCH,” “the Hub,” or “we”). By using the site or enrolling in a program, you agree to these terms. The course-specific enrollment confirmation you receive controls in any conflict.
Use of the site
The site is provided for general informational purposes and to support course enrollment, the Learning Management System, and the regulatory digest. Material on the site is not legal, tax, or accounting advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice tailored to a specific situation. Regulation changes; the site is updated as the Hub sees fit.
What PCH does — and does not
PCH is a continuing-education company. We teach. We hold ourselves out as practitioners; we do not hold ourselves out as your lawyer, your tax advisor, or your accountant. Where a question requires legal counsel, we will say so plainly and will recommend you engage counsel of your choosing. Curriculum is aligned with the American Payroll Association's Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Statement; delivery is by current and former payroll, HR, and legal practitioners.
Enrollment, tuition, and refunds
Enrollment in a live cohort opens four weeks before the cohort begins and closes when the seats are filled. Tuition is due in full at the time of enrollment. The following refund policy applies to individual enrollments; corporate engagements are governed by their own statements of work.
- Before the first session: full refund, less a $40 registrar's fee.
- During the first week: 75% refund.
- After the first week and before the midpoint: 50% refund.
- After the midpoint: no refund. Students may, at our discretion, transfer their seat to a future cohort once, subject to availability.
Continuing-education credit
PCH is registered as an IRS-Approved CE Provider, a SHRM Recertification Provider, and an HRCI Approved Provider. Credit is awarded only to students who complete the requirements published in the syllabus for that course. Certificates of completion are issued electronically within ten business days of completion and are also reported directly to the relevant accrediting body where the accrediting body's rules so require.
The Hub does not guarantee that any particular continuing-education credit will be accepted by an employer, certification board, or state regulatory authority other than the bodies named on the course page; students are responsible for confirming the suitability of a program for their own credentialing requirements before enrollment.
Examination preparation
PCH publishes preparation programs for the FPC and CPP examinations administered by the American Payroll Association. PCH is not the APA, is not affiliated with the APA, and does not administer the FPC or CPP examinations. References to the FPC and CPP examinations are made nominatively and only for the purpose of describing the preparation curriculum.
Intellectual property
Course materials, recordings, examinations, and the curriculum itself are owned by PCH or used under license. Students may reproduce a reasonable number of copies for their own personal, non-commercial reference. All other reproduction, distribution, public display, transmission, or use to train any machine-learning model requires the Hub's prior written consent. Sharing live-course access credentials with another person is grounds for removal from the program without refund.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the site and the Learning Management System only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the site, the Learning Management System, or any related infrastructure;
- Use any automated means to access, scrape, or copy course materials for redistribution, resale, or training a machine-learning model;
- Impersonate another person, share enrollment credentials, or take an examination on behalf of another person;
- Submit material to discussion forums or to faculty that is unlawful, defamatory, or that infringes the rights of any third party.
Third-party links
The site and course materials may link to third-party resources (federal and state regulators, accrediting bodies, professional associations) for the convenience of the reader. We do not endorse, sponsor, or guarantee the content or practices of those sites.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site and the courses are provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, currency, or non-infringement. The Hub does not warrant that the site or the LMS will be uninterrupted or free of error.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, neither PCH nor any of its faculty, employees, or agents shall be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, material published on the site or in any course. The Hub's aggregate liability for any claim relating to a course is limited to the tuition paid for that course. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms and any matter relating to them or to your use of the site or the courses shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The state and federal courts seated in Cook County, Illinois, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any such matter, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes
The Hub may revise these terms from time to time. The date at the head of these terms indicates when they were last revised. Your continued use of the site, or your re-enrollment, after a change constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is held to be unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect.
